Andrea first hit the scene with voice-overs and on-air commercials, from Arrid to Emeraude, eventually landing on the daytime series Love Is A Many Splendored Thing. Television appearances include: Arli$$ for HBO, Cybill, Taxi, Magnum P.I., Hill Street Blues, and Trapper John, M.D. among others, as well as the series, Berrenger’s, and numerous made-for-television movies, plus a guest appearance as Sophia on General Hospital, and a reoccurring role on Baskets starring Zach Galifianakis. 

Film credits include: The Front, (nominated for a Golden Globe Award); The Hand, with Sir Michael Caine; The Stuff, with Michael Moriarty; Spacehunter, with Peter Strauss; The Canterville Ghost, with Sir John Gielgud; Jack the Bear, as Danny DeVito's wife; Henry Jaglom's Someone To Love (featuring Orson Welles in his last film appearance) and Irene in Time. She provided commentary for the DVDs of Someone to Love, The Front, and The Stuff. She appears in the award-winning short, Charlie, (also on DVD).

 She debuted on Broadway in the musical, Ambassador, starring Howard Keel and last appeared on the Great Bright Way in Frank D. Gilroy's play Any Given Day, with Sada Thompson. Off-Broadway appearances include the title role in Coco at the York Theatre, The Wedding of Iphigenia, Variety Obit, The Seagull, and as Ophelia to Sam Waterston's Hamlet for Joseph Papp's Shakespeare in the Park. Regionally, she received rave reviews for leading roles in St. Joan, Burn This, and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at the American Conservatory Theater, San Francisco. Additional performances include Daisy in On A Clear Day, and the title role of Coco at 42nd Street Moon, San Francisco, playing to sold-out houses. Highlights in Los Angeles include starring opposite Anthony Newley in Chaplin, portraying all the legendary actor's wives, Finian's Rainbow at Reprise!, and Ghetto, at The Mark Taper Forum. In Philadelphia Andrea starred in the revival of Lady in the Dark at the Prince Music Theatre.​

Andrea began her career with appearances on The Today Show and The Merv Griffin Show, subsequently appearing at the legendary New York nightclub Reno Sweeney, and eventually mounting a solo concert at Carnegie Hall. Her surprise guest was Michael Feinstein. She has also entertained at the Governor’s Ball at the White House. 

Andrea has toured extensively throughout the country performing in clubs, theatres, and concert stages including forty years at The Gardenia in Los Angeles, twenty-five years at the legendary Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel, more than twenty years at the Plush Room in San Francisco, over fifteen years at the Tilles Center on Long Island, and nine years at Davenport’s, Chicago. Famed New York venues include multiple theatres at Lincoln Center, Town Hall, Symphony Space, The Café Carlyle, Joe’s Pub at the Public Theatre, and 54 Below. Abroad, and throughout the US, she's appeared at The Liceu Opera House, Barcelona, Pizza-On-The-Park and the Jermyn Street Theatre, London, The Rrazz Room (in several locations), The Colony, Palm Beach, FL., Vilar Performing Arts Center, NJPAC, Wolftrap, Steppenwolf, San Francisco Pops, Florida Philharmonic, The Oregon, Chicago and Ft. Worth Symphonies, The Brownville Concert Series in Nebraska, and many others. 

Special events include: Andrea's Birthday Concert at Town Hall, in collaboration with ASCAP, celebrating her contribution to songwriters with Oscar and Grammy winning guests like Stephen Schwartz; hosting events like the MAC Awards, and the New York Cabaret Convention with Jeff Harnar; speaking at the New York Film Society's tribute to Sir Michael Caine; performances of I Am Anne Frank, (Lyrics: Enid Futterman / Music: Michael Cohen); and commissions from Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Carolina Ballet and The Savannah Music Festival.
